Thread Lift level 1
This foundational course introduces absorbable thread lifting as a minimally invasive technique for facial and neck repositioning. The program focuses on thread types, indications, anatomical fixation points, and basic lifting methods, enabling practitioners to safely integrate thread lift procedures into clinical practice.
Emphasis is placed on patient selection, vector planning, anatomical safety, and complication prevention, preparing learners for supervised hands-on training and advanced thread applications.
- Level Intermediate
- Category
- Estimated study time ~12 Hours
- Format Virtual (Interactive LMS) + Optional Hands-on Lab
Learning Objectives
- Understand the mechanisms of action of absorbable threads and their types (PDO, PLLA, PCL)
- Identify ideal candidates and contraindications for thread lift procedures
- Plan safe and effective vectors according to facial anatomy and skin laxity
- Master insertion techniques for midface, jawline, brow, and neck lifting
- Recognize and manage complications including asymmetry and dimpling
- Integrate threads with neurotoxins, fillers, and regenerative treatments for optimal outcomes
